November 2024: Los Angeles County Reviewed, Two Pools of the Month
In November 2024 we finished reviewing Los Angeles County, found more than 50 new listings and deleted fewer than ten. Our two Pools of the Month are in the Faroe Islands and Grenada.
In this November 2024 pool listings update, we report that our review of Los Angeles County, California, is finished and that we found more than 50 new listings around the world.
Listing checks
In November we finally finished reviewing the listings in Los Angeles County. By the time this update is published, we expect to be well into Orange County, if not finished with it.
The work is slow, partly because users send us reviews and listing updates for pools in other areas and countries. We would rather update the listings that swimmers are actually visiting than listings for pools that we have found but few people use, so we handle those suggestions as they arrive.
During November we found more than 50 new listings around the world and deleted fewer than ten, so the site continued to grow.
Pools of the Month
We selected two listings for the Pool of the Month honor.
The first is Svimjihøllin í Gundadali in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands, which opened a 50-meter addition in November. Read about the Gundadal Swimming Pool.
The second is Silversands Grand Anse, a resort on the Caribbean island of Grenada whose main pool is an infinity pool 100 meters long. Read about Silversands Grand Anse.
