Though the facility does not offer public admission, through a deal with my hotel (New Hotel - Le Quai Vieux Port), I was able to get single entry admission vouchers. Cercle des Nageurs is an incredible facility and probably the closest thing in Europe to the Bondi Icebergs pool in Sydney, Australia.
I swam here on weekday afternoons in September. The 50m indoor pool was not crowded and usually had two people per lane. The pool was very clean and slightly cold. There were free trackers you could wear on your temple to count your laps and speed, which showed up on a video board next to the pool. The outdoor 25m saltwater pool has a beautiful sea view and quite cold water. This pool was more crowded with narrower lanes.
You can also access the sea directly from the club to do open water swims. The club is in a bay with crystal clear water where boat traffic is not allowed, making it ideal to do open water in.
Lockers were not available for guests, but people just let their bags out as the facility is very secure.
