August 2023: Chuze Fitness Added and a Net Gain of 40 Listings
In August 2023 we added 21 listings from a health club chain new to the site, kept reviewing Minnesota, Wales and Ireland, and chose two seaside pools as our Pools of the Month.
August 2023 brought a net gain of 40 pool listings, 21 of them from a health club chain that was new to us. Our update also follows the continuing reviews in Minnesota, Wales and Ireland.
Site activity
We continued to work on listings in three places in August. In Minnesota we finished Goodhue County and made a start on Hennepin County. In Wales we cleared Newport, both the county and the city. In Ireland we finished County Donegal and prepared to start on Dublin. In September we plan to keep working on all three.
A new health club chain in the U.S.
We came across a mention of a U.S. health club chain we had not known about, Chuze Fitness. We found 21 new listings for its clubs, spread across Arizona, California, Colorado and New Mexico.
Pool of the Month
We chose two pools for August 2023, both beside the sea. Sea Lanes Brighton is a 50-meter outdoor pool on the beachfront in Brighton, England, open all year. Wymara Villas + Beach Club in the Turks and Caicos has an ocean enclosure pool whose water is replenished by the tides.
