I swam here twice on a mid-October trip to Brighton. At £11.90, it's the most expensive swim pass I've encountered (discounts are available for under 18s and over 60s). It's a nice facility and a unique experience, so I felt it would be worth a vacation splurge.
My Saturday swim was crowded but not unbearable—an event limited the public swim to three lanes. My mid-morning Monday swim was much different. I joined a lane as a 3rd sswimmer; in short order I had the lane to myself and only had a new lane-mate later in my workout.
The water was COLD—66ºF/19ºC per my Apple watch on both swims. (There is a screen in the locker room that showed the temperature as 20.5ºC).I booked and paid for the swims online and, when I arrived was directed to the single changing room, which had individual dressing cabins, showers, and lockers. There are also little cage lockers out on the pool deck. The bougie coffee shop next door made for a nice post-swim treat.
