During COVID, at least, reservations to use pools in Madrid are required. Reservations can be made online HERE. Some brief instructions:
1. You can see the swim slot availability without registering (Acceso no identificado) but you cannot make a reservation without full ID. (Users who wish to register with full ID and who do not have a Spanish Identification card [DNI], will want to select the Correo electrónico y contraseña (Email and password) option when that comes up.)
2. Go to and click on Entradas de uso libre (Free use admissions) and choose Nado libre en piscina cubierta (Free swimming in indoor pools).
3. Toggle on the Mostrar centros con disponilidad (Show centers with available times) switch to see which pools have times available for reservations.
4. If the name of your pool appears on the list, click on it. (If it doesn’t, you are probably out of luck).
5. Select a date and time (for a 60-minute session).
6. Complete the payment form to pay for your reservation.
