Facility Notes
Outside of school holidays, the pool operates with short course lanes (25m) on weekdays until 4 PM.
In 2025, the facility added several outdoor pools that are not fully described on its website, one of which appears to be a 25-meter, 3-lane pool.
Prior to the addition of the 25-meter, outdoor pool, the indoor pool used to close for substantially all of the month of August every year. We don't know how the schedules may be changed going forward. In any case, the city has several indoor and outdoor pools that you may want to know about, see Willkommen In Der Bäderwelt Der Freiburger Schwimmbäder for the full list.

A good pool for a workout. In the afternoon half of the pool is reserved for swim clubs. The Faulerbad is also a good pool for a workout.
