Faulerbad

When I visited, half of the pool was divided into three roped lanes; the other half was used by breast strokers and other slower swimmers. Designated lane speeds are largely ignored but swimmers are respectful. The temperature was crisp. The pool is very clean.

Nice facility, but circle swimming was an adventure!

Just one roped lane for circle swimming, unsupervised, and includes kickboards, breast- and backstrokers. The fast swimmers are FAST and pass quickly. 6-8 AM is reserved for daily lap swimming yet only one lane remains roped for “fast swimmers.” (Swim next to the roped lane early AM, sometimes with less interference.) The roped lane is crowded except for ½ hour before closing (everyone out at 9:40 PM). Get there at 6 AM or before closing.
