Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre

This is a great place to swim laps in Wellington. The pool temperature is perfect, the other swimmers are very respectful, and there’s usually enough lanes (especially before noon) that you get a lane to yourself. The only drawback is that the pool isn’t the cleanest and there was a lot of debris on the bottom of the pool every time I went. Otherwise, it's a great pool and highly recommended!

If you’re visiting for a short time, it may be cheaper to get a weekly pass to the gym in the building (which includes access to the pool) rather than paying for daily pool passes.

This is a good pool, there is always plenty of room, even for early evening swims when other pools are usually crowded.
