This is an older, well-maintained, giant hall of a pool and it feels longer than 50m. The fast lanes are pretty empty first thing but check the programme on the site, as the local triathlon club also train there on weekends and then everyone else gets squeezed into one lane. The pool is more in the serious end of the swimming universe, which I like, but expect to be burnt off quite a lot of the time by the speed merchants.
