Facility Notes

Pool 1 is the main competition pool, it is reserved for full-pool rentals.
Pool 2 is where public lap/lane/length swimming takes place.

The pool accommodates eight swimmers per lane; half of the slots are held for reservations (booking can be done online); half are kept available for drop-in swimmers. All swimmers must check in at reception, where they will be issued a pass to access the pool.

This is a beautiful facility. I went on a Sunday afternoon and it was not too crowded. They had a strange double-lane, circle-swim set-up, with some lanes swimming clockwise and others counterclockwise. There were some very slow types in the "fast" lane, but it wasn't an uncomfortable swim. The facility has a swim shop and several fast food choices. Parking is CAD 3.00.

This is a brand new PanAm/Para facility to exceed the wildest dreams of a lap swimmer and can include everyone and anyone.
