The pool is outdoors in an attractive setting surrounded by mature trees, gardens and buildings. Sun loungers and an outdoor restaurant are alongside. The pool and changing facilities are very clean, well maintained and in good condition (as one would expect from an expensive private members club). The pool does not have lane markers or anti wave barriers. This, combined with an old fashioned design, means that waves are reflected off the walls and the water is not as smooth as it could be. This is not a problem as the pool is sparsely used and often I have been the only person swimming. Having said that, it might get busier with families and children on a hot summer day, either in the afternoon after school or on weekends.
