Splash Leisure Pool

There's loud music playing constantly; it has a very unusual timetable; and the staff are very unhelpful. It's a real shame.

It's a shame to say that nothing much has changed since 2013. The water slide is still out of action; the changing rooms are not clean, and there's still nowhere for babies to be changed. The showers are dirty and some still don't work. The toilets stink. And the snacks machine won't give change.

It's a shame that no one has wanted to better one of Rushden's few attractions. I will be traveling out of Rushden to take my children swimming in future, until I see the changes to Splash Pool that are so very overdue!

The pool is nice and clean, and there is a variety of attractions, however, the flume is out of action, until further notice, which is disappointing. The changing rooms are dirty; there are no baby changing facilities available; and there are not sufficient changing areas for small babies, i.e., changing mats or anywhere clean to put your baby whilst parent gets changed. Only a few showers work.

Whilst the pool here is great and the water features, including slide are also good, the quality and reliability of lockers (at least the men's) is off putting; and fathers with young children have no changing facility. The music is loud during sessions and is clearly the young attendants' choice, not ‘popular’ music and (I expect) would not be most swimmers' preferred soundtrack.

Rushden SPLASH pool has baby changing facilities, a flume, two swimming lanes, a creche - I reccomend it.
