This is a fine pool and gym within walking distance to centro ciudad, the old city. The locker rooms are great. As noted, the lockers work with your electronic wrist band: Just hold the band to the lock when you push it in to lock; hold it to the lock again and it will unlock automatically. The pool is clean, maybe a tad warm, but very swimmable. We had two or three swimmers per lane, but everyone was good about waiting at the ends for faster swimmers to pass. The receptionist told us that the least crowded times are very early, like 7;30 AM, and mid-day, from 1 to 4, or so. Remember, swim caps for all, and shower shoes.

A swimming test is required at the pool, which is clean. OK circle swimming. The center is within walking distance of the cathedral and the old city, about the same distance from the old city as is Sato Sport. There are two three-star hotels within secven minutes walking distance on Alameda de Hercules, between the pool and the old city.
