Michener Centre is one of Red Deer’s best kept secrets. It is clean and very functional for lane swimming, lolling about in a “warm pool” or diving (separate tanks for all 3). The one thing they don’t do well is let the public know about their facility. It is almost like a private pool. After more than 5000 km in that pool – all with the same head lifeguard – I certainly proudly call it my HOME pool!
