Facility Notes
The water in the pools is usually between 60º and 71°F (16º - 22°C) in winter and between 78º and 80°F (26º - 27°C) in summer.
The two pools are actually one tank with a bulkhead separating the two sections.
For a long time (beginning in 1983) the pool operated without a bulkhead to separate the two 50-meter sections, creating a 104-meter long tank, the longest pool listed on this site until the 1,000+ meter San Alfonso del Mar Resort in Algarrobo, Chile opened in 2007. Judging from the Google Maps Satellite View photograph, the bulkhead has finally been replaced and the one tank is now operating as two separate pools; one striped only for long course, the other divided into three subsections - one striped width-wise and the others unstriped.
