Facility Notes

We are informed that the pool, which was formerly open to the public, is now reserved for schools and swimming instruction.

NOTE: Aspire Park, the location of Plus Fitness, is also the location of another world-renowned swimming facility, the Hamad Aquatic Centre. Unfortunately, we have not been able to find good contact information for the Hamad Aquatic Centre and it appears that the two facilities have been horribly conflated on the Internet. We're not sure that Google Maps' positioning of the two facilities is correct, and some of the pools listed above may actually be located in the Hamad Aquatic Centre – we just don't know which.

If you have first hand information about the Hamad Aquatic Centre (phone number, actual physical location within Aspire Park, and proper description of the facilities there, please let us know. If you are familiar with the Plus Fitness location and facilities, please let us know that, too. Thank you for any assistance you may be able to provide!

It's a nice facility but has different hours each day for male, female, and family swimming. Check at the front desk for the schedule. The pool is typically closed for holidays like Eid al Fitr and Eid al Adha, and also for a week around big meets such as the FINA World Cup.
