This is a nice pool, with water cleanliness about 9/10. The swimmers and staff are polite. They have refundable €1 lockers - about a thousand of them, many more than it seems to me their pool could ever accommodate. The usual swimsuit rules apply, although (not required) swim caps (bonnets de bain) here are subject to more color variation than at other French pools: only 70% were black. Backstroke flags are always present at the shallow end and sometimes present at the deep end, with helpful ceiling landmarks that require study to be useful. The schedule is bizarre.
If you are staying in central Troyes (a good idea) the pool is on the #6 bus line €1,35 as of May, 2018. The stop you want is "Marne" not (!) "Chartreux."
