Piscine Olympique de Deauville

The facility is beautiful and it costs only €4! The locker room and shower area is great, and the front desk staff were very helpful. The salt water took a bit of getting used to (it is pumped in directly from the sea) and I did find the pool a little warmer than I like, but this is one of the best pools in Normandie/Bretagne.

The Piscine Olympique was the best pool we were in, in Paris and Normandy. It's a very large and right on the beach. The pool wasn't crowded on a weekday evening; there were plenty of open lanes. The people at the desk, the lifeguards, and a coach ondeck were all very nice and courteous. The water is a filtered ocean water, but the chaffing from that was a small price to pay to be able to swim in such an otherwise nice pool. I would recommend this pool for fitness swimming and training.
