This is really a charming facility and swimming here was a pleasure.
The pool roof can be opened in warmer weather and the building has a large glass facade that overlooks a park with playgrounds, clay and artificial tennis courts, a cafe, and a bamboo grove! There are black & white posters of 1950s movie-stars - Burt Lancaster, Deborah Kerr, Elvis, Liz Taylor, etc. - on the walls inside.
But the most aesthetically pleasing thing is the pool, itself. The entire tank is of stainless steel giving the water a kind of silvery-blue hue with different light reflections off the floor. It is very soothing. The shallow end is very shallow. The pool was set up with three, speed-designated lanes and a double lane for rec. swimmers. There were two swimmers per lane on a Sunday afternoon. There were lots of kids there, too, but they were all in the other pools. The facility was clean and swimming here was a very enjoyable experience.
