Piscine Edouard Pailleron

This is a great, beautifully maintained facility. Like practically all of the Parisian pool scene, it's chock-a-block full, but I managed to be in a rapide lane with only three or four other swimmers and the 33m length allowed me enough room to pass them. With the exception of one fellow swimmer in that lane, patron understanding of their own swim speed was lacking, but it wasn't a bad swim. More details with pictures HERE.

Hopelessly crowded. The lanes were set as fast, slow, and equipment users (or so my French suggested - paddles, fins, etc.), but this was completely ignored by everyone. If you can swim at all, don't try to swim here. It was a good temperature. There was also a separate leisure pool. Lockers were electronic ones, where you choose your own PIN. Shoes are not allowed to be worn anywhere in the changing area. There are seats by the door for putting your shoes back on.
