Given its small size and limited non-summer hours, it was surprising to find this pool to be one of the better lap-swimming pools in the Aix-en-Provence pool system, most likely because it is just not as crowded as the others. The pool usually has one or two of the four lanes roped off for laps, but given the huge range in swimming ability present in the lap lanes, I found swimming in the "open" part of the pool to give a better lap swimming experience.
