I had a great experience with this pool in early September, 2025. There was very good lane availability -- check their website for nuoto libero. I found the website times to be accurate, but if you want to be sure, they were good about answering my e-mails (the address listed here worked for me). It is open to the public and very friendly. Flip-flops are required! Bring your own towel, bathing cap, and lock.

The pool is a short walk from the Lavagna train station. Turn right exiting the station, walk along the main road for about 10 minutes and it's on your left near a large park!

Clean and modern; many courses/lessons.

A very nice pool. There is also a smaller training pool and a bar for refreshments. It may close during August; most vacationing Italians swim in the Mediterranean just across busy Via Aurelia.
