This is a very nice facility, with lots of serious lap swimmers and lots of free-swim hours when the outdoor pool is open. I was lucky enough to find the outdoor pools still open the first week of September (2026). They usually close the outdoor pool at the end of August and have a week or so where both pools are closed for maintenance. It's been my experience that once the facility switches to its indoor pools (mid-September) it's harder to find space and you have to check the schedule carefully.
There is a 50-meter outdoor pool for lap swimmers and a 25-meter pool with a couple of lap lanes, but that one is mostly kids and recreational swimmers.
As with most Italian pools, a bathing cap is required. The showers in the locker rooms require a token, but there is a shower on the pool deck for a quick rinse. Still, it's open to the public and highly recommended!
