The Piedmont Community Pool reopened in April, 2026, after a reported $30M+ renovation. The new facility has a 12-lane lap pool and a smaller kiddie pool.
The pools and tiered outdoor landscaping are beautiful. The locker room area, however, is dismally small and the showers lack any water pressure.
The drop-in rate is expensive and reflects that Piedmont is a very wealthy enclave surrounded by the City of Oakland.
