The water is nice and cool, though it didn't taste particularly clean. The Swim For Fitness lanes are clearly marked with signs indicating slow, medium, medium, and fast, "clockwise", and "anticlockwise".
The change area is large and family-oriented, with many change cubbies and lockers (which cost a 30p token to operate, and you only get to open it once, so plan ahead!). The showers were blisteringly hot on the day I went; dunno if it's like that regularly. The online booking system is easy to use.
