The outdoor pool has good water quality and reasonable gutters and baffles. It's a good temperature for lap swimming. In the mornings I normally get my own lane, only occasionally having to split. I've never had to circle swim. The outdoor pool has lap lanes available throughout the day.
The indoor pool is more highly chlorinated, doesn't have gutters, and the water is kept warmer. It normally has two lanes available for lap swimming, although watch for swim lessons and water aerobics classes.
