Parakiore also has a 2.2m deep leisure pool, a 0.9m shallow leisure pool, a 0.3m depth toddlers' pool, a splash deck and water adventure playground, a family spa pool, an an adults spa pool, a hydrotherapy pool, and a learn to swim pool.

My brother and I swam at this exceptional aquatic facility. The water was perfect and the lanes were marked for various swim speeds. The 50-metre pool was split into two 25-metre pools with plenty of lanes. The entry fee was NZ$7 per adult. The first 120 minutes of parking is free.
