Ocean Pines Sports Core Pool

There are usually two lap lanes, no lane sharing is required, so the wait might be a while if the swimmer in the lane is unwilling to share (there’ s a 40-minute time limit for each swimmer). They have a dry-erase board where you put your name on a waiting list and the time you enter the lane.

I swam here on a Thursday afternoon, the day after Christmas. There was only one other person swimming laps, with four lanes available for use. There were no lockers, so I just brought my bag on deck with no issues. The pool is shallow, and the water quite warm. Pull-buoys and kickboards were available for use. There is a whiteboard where you’re supposed to check-in on deck to record when you start swimming. A sign indicated that 40 minutes was the maximum time allowed in a lane but the limit was not enforced. The facility was very clean. Note I went during the town’s off-season. The experience may be different if you go in summer.
