Fantastic facility! The lockers are free and have built-in coded locks. I swam in the competition pool at noon on a Thursday - there were about two swimmers per lane. It’s very clean and had minimal, if any, chlorine. Be sure to check the calendar on the official website for events causing closures, as well as to see whether the competition pool is set-up for long or short course laps (the training pool is always long course).

The training pool [Pool 2] water temperature is perfect for lap swimming. Based on my on experience, I would guess 80ºF [27ºC] or slightly cooler.

Awesome pool(s). My favourite ones in Asia. Clean, cheap, well-organized. So Singapore!

The competition pool is great and very clean. The water is cooler than the training pool. I was there on a weekday between 7 and 9 AM; it wasn't packed at all. I had my own 50m lane. They allow for all training toys and water bottles. No diving is allowed, though there are diving blocks. The only problem I had was that the pool was too deep for me to stand and the walls are really high up, so I was clinging on the walls while resting. It's the same in the training pool. The competition pool is "faster" water than the training pool, so it's great for lap swimming.

I swam in the 50m training pool. It is a lap swim-only pool with eight lanes. From 7 to 9 AM, it was not busy, with just two or three swimmers per lane. There are four classification of lanes depending on your pace, the fastest lane is for swimmers swimming under 45 seconds per 50m length.
