Clean, deep, a perfect temperature for lap swimming and not crowded most of the year. The locker rooms are beautiful; sauna and steam facilities are available; there’s a whirlpool and unlimited, free towels. Unfortunately, the scheduling is a problem for lap swimmers. The school’s swim team and lessons run from about 4:40 to 5:30 or 6:30 PM, with no lap lanes available. From Nov. to Feb. lanes are leased to other teams from 6 or 7 to 9 PM, with only two, narrow lanes left for lap swimmers.
