Minoru Aquatic Centre

This can be a frustrating pool to swim in for faster swimmers. The fast lane often has slow swimmers in it who are not asked to move by the lifeguards, especially in the morning and evening swims.

Minoru Aquatic Centre is terrific! It includes two large pools, two Jacuzzis, a warm soaking pool, and sauna. There are plenty of skylights and windows that create a nice, large, airy, light place. One pool is surrounded by windows with plants. In summer, swimmers can go outside and sit on a picnic bench on the grass, without leaving the pool area. There are specific times for lap swims with fast/medium/slow lanes. It's open until 10 most nights. Parking is easy. Staff are helpful.
