Lido Beach Pool & Pavilion

This is a nice pool and very clean. I had my own lane for an hour on a Sunday afternoon. You pay the admission fee at the Lido Beach Restaurant concession in the Lido Beach Pavilion, just north of the pool, and they will give you a receipt to give the life guard. The changing area in the bathroom is not private and the only showers are public and outdoors. There are no lockers.

Such a find and right on the beach! This pool has been around for years (it’s on the site of an old casino) but underwent a complete renovation a few years ago. So it’s new, sparkling clean, and 25 meters. Rarely crowded, except during "snowbird season" but lane-sharing’s not a problem. Two or three lanes are sometimes reserved for family play. Buy your ticket at the concession stand and give it to the guard. Staff is nice. It feels like saltwater but the guards said it’s not. Closed Mondays.
