LA Fitness - Scarborough (Premier Plus)

Don't do it! I had a great gym experience but trying to end my membership (my kids got out of school, then we moved) was a nightmare. They conveniently got my info wrong, the guy who spoke to me no longer works there, etc. The membership phone line just rings out. Spare yourself the stress. I have learned LA Fitness is notorious for doing this.

It amazes me how inconsistent this chain can be in terms of cleanliness. This particular LA Fitness happened to be EXCEPTIONALLY clean, with the water almost crystalline; the hot tub looking like it was just cleaned; and the water temperature pretty good for lap swimming. Like most (practically all) LA Fitness locations, the staff have zero clue about how long the pool actually is, but this one is definitely 25 yards. If you're in Scarborough and can't make it to the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre, choose this LA Fitness over the William Kitchen Road location every time. It's one of the better - 8 out of a 10, where 10 is the best an LA Fitness can be ... knowing that the nearby TPASC would be a 100 on the same scale ;)
