This facility shows its age - you can see all the colors it's ever been painted through the chipped paint on the side of the pool, and some of the lockers won't open because they are in too bad shape.

The pool water was clear and clean and nice to swim in, and there are windows letting in natural light. The pool's depth is 3½' on the ends and 5½' in the middle.

The showers are private, but the curtains are too small to fully cover the opening, and the first shower I tried never got warm (the second one worked). The $20 entrance fee is unreasonable for the quality of the place, but I am still grateful that I got to swim there.

Pool cleanliness has suffered since the departure of their long time (10+yr) aquatics director.

Membership is reasonable (you don't have to be Jewish); the pool is never crowded (during the day); there are plenty of shower stalls. Lap and open swim hours are generous; the rules and regulations are easy. There's a sauna and a steam room. Closed for all Jewish holidays and Mon-Fri 3:30 - 4:30 PM for student swim instruction. Four lap lanes most of the time, but sometimes they turn the large aquacise lane into two more swim lanes. Open 7 days a week, but only 1:30-4:30 PM on Saturdays.
