Kaua’i Ohana YMCA

Complete concurrence with comments made by prior visitors. While a bit brisk, the water temperature suited me well for lap swimming. Don't let the YMCA's rustic entrance and parking lot fool you. The pool is first class and the locker room totally adequate.

This is a nice pool! It was a little chilly in February. It was configured for short course when I was there and I had the pool to myself. The walls are tile and were a little slippery for turns.

Fantastic outdoor pool! The water was like silk and the surrounding mountain view can't be beat. I had a lane to myself all three times I swam there.

This pool opened in June, 2008. It’s a beautiful new pool, 50 meters long course and 25 yards short course. I swam there twice in February at 11 AM and it was pretty empty. You can also use the workout equipment if you want to. The staff was very friendly and there are locker rooms and showers, but you have to bring your own towel. The only problem I had was that the pool is not heated and the water was pretty cold.
