The pool is customarily described as being triangular, but there are arc-shaped "out-parcels" loacted in two corners of the main swimming area - one is a children's pool, the other a geothermally headed pool that is usually between 28º and 30ºC (82º - 86ºF).

According to Google the water temperature ranges from 11º - to 14ºC (52º to 57ºF) in April and May; 14º to 15ºC (57º to 59ºF) in June; 15º to 17º, 18º, or 19º (57º to 59º, 62º, or 66ºF) in July and August; 15° to 17°C (59° to 63°F); and 11° to 14°C (52° to 57°F) in October through December.

Admission to the geothermal pool for 55-minute sessions runs from £9.60 for residents of Penzance, to £12.00 for other residents of Cornwall, to £16.00 for non-residents.
