Lovely facility - clean and with a great staff. It's pricey, if you're not an Oakland resident.
I agree with the earlier review - do no try to visit during peak kid activity times. It's very pleasant in the early mornings, though.

Check the schedule and avoid times when the “water park” features are open, and especially Friday afternoons, when the pool is free to the community. The pool fills up with kids and gets pretty chaotic.Although one lap lane stays open and is supposed to be for lap swimming only, the lifeguards are too busy policing all the kids to do a consistent job of keeping them out of the lap lane.
