Dalplex at Dalhousie University

I'd echo most of the March 2019 review. It all seems a bit old and is in the basement, but the water is clean, it's well-lit, and everything seems well-maintained. I got a 50m lane all to myself in the late morning on a weekday. I'd definitely go here again (though there are less expensive options in the area that might win out).

The pool is clean but quite old and has no natural light, as it is in the basement. Although it is in the fancy Dalplex recreation complex, the pool is not new. The locker room is really old, with cage-type lockers that are rusty and worn. There are a few outlets for plugging in hair dryers in the women's locker room.

Well maintained, clean pool, lots of chlorine. That's a good thing considering all the kids. Usually a free lane to yourself. Great hot rock sauna.

A great facility. Set up as two 25 meter pools each with eight lanes, the water was a good, cool, temperature. My friend and I each had a lane to ourselves. Clean, airy although it's several levels down. To get to the pool you need to go down at least three flights of stairs… Good diving as well. The locker rooms were OK, but nothing special.
