Cuesta College Swimming Pool

The reviews below are still accurate. Since COVID, now requires advance registration on the Cuesta Pool site (you don't need to be a student; you do need an account, which you can set up online). It's about $4 per day. The reservation is for a time range (e.g., between 9 and 11 AM); it's not a fixed time; it's not a fixed lane; it is circle swimming. Parking is now $4.00, there's a kiosk in the parking lot that takes credit cards. Parking Lot 6 is the closest to the pool.

This is a nice facility and newly updated. The water temperature was 80ºF. Fins, pull-buoys, and kick boards are available. The lockers are in the gym above the pool. It is a short walk so bring parka and sandals. Don’t let this put you off. It's a nice facility.

Parking on the campus is $3; a pass is available from the kiosk at the Administration Building.

I like the pool but it is a long walk to the dressing room in the cold.
