Crystal Pool and Fitness Centre

This is a great pool. The price is right. The pool is set up for 50m or 25m lengths, depending on the time of day.

The building is closing in the fall of 2026 to be replaced by a new facility (in 5 years) in the same location. Make sure to call ahead if you are visiting later this year.

This is a good pool - it's open very long hours and it is obviously well-appreciated by the community. There are two, enormous, cathedral-type skylights, so there is a lot of natural light. Unfortunately, the basin itself needs updating - the tiles are losing their colour and the concrete is stained and crumbling. It is still a nice place to swim, though.

The facility has a hot tub and sauna. The locker rooms are good and have hand dryers; an outlet is available in the women's locker room for hair dryers.

It is a terrific pool!

I swim at this facility 5 days a week and it has everything you want. Well maintained and clean with large changerooms. 50m lengths are only for specific times so, if this is what you want, call ahead at (250) 361 0732. Super facility.
