The pool is normally heated only during competitions. However, the management turns off the boiler about half way throughout the tourney (once the officials have measured the H2O temp), and the water turns progressively colder as the day goes on. Watch out while warming up in the "warm up pool" alongside, the heater is never turned on there!!
