The water is shockingly warm - I was absolutely melting and my heartrate was elevated because of the water temperature. It felt really strange.

Overall, I was happy to be swimming, all the other swimmers were friendly but, when I was there (on a Tuesday around 6 PM), the lanes were a mix of highly skilled and medium skilled. I had to allow some swimmers a headstart, or I would run into them in the lane.

To access the pool, go into the building and take the elevator down to B2. Zero tattoos are allowed - I had to wear my trisuit to hide a relatively small tattoo. The ground floor of the sports center cells some clothes including swimwear/caps/goggles/rash guards if you need one.

This is my favorite pool in Tokyo. Three lanes are reserved for expert swimmers. Generally there is decent lane etiquette. Like most pools in Japan, a cap is required, watches and excessive tattoos are prohibited, etc. Buy a ¥500 ticket from vendingmachine on level B2 and use this for locker and to exit. The pool is cleared for 5 minutes, once an hour, for the lifeguard to make sure nobody sunk to the bottom! The water is too warm for me, but overall great public swim and not too crowded.
