Christiania Mountain & Spa

This is a beautiful, modern, sparkling-clean facility. It's the only 25-meter pool in Zermatt where you can legitimately swim laps and, in summer, it was never very crowded. The pool is open all day; hotel guests may also use the two saunas and steam room free of charge. Lockers and showers are available. Towels are provided; wear your robe and slippers to the spa!

Absolutely the best lap pool in town. Towels not included unless you pay an additional charge to use the sauna. Locker and key provided. Sprinkled with kids from 5 to 7 PM.

Swimming in the morning before skiing, I could see the sun rising on the Matterhorn with each breath toward the windows side.
