It's a saline pool. The staff is very friendly; they gave me a lock for the locker. I wore a two-piece suit, and it wasn't a problem. At 8 AM I had to share a lane with only two others.

The facility is up to standards. Bring a swim cap, flip flops, a lock, and your passport or equivalent. Circle swimming is expected, so don't split the lane or a third may jump in and collide. The lanes are speed-designated, but the designations are not respected, unfortunately. The pool was crowded during the weekday morning rush (three to four swimmers per lane) but cleared out briefly before they closed lanes for kids and lessons. It was less crowded than I expected for a big city pool.

I swam here on a Saturday at 8 AM. The facility is clean and modern. The standard of swimming was much higher than it had been in provincial Spanish pools I visited on the same trip and the pool was busier. Having said that, I shared a lane with one other person only, so it was fine. As with the other Spanish pools I visited, there were ample pool toys to use.
Having read the other reviews, I took some flip flops and ID, but not a lock, and I had no trouble in hanging up a small swim bag on the peg by the side of the pool.

I swam here on a Thursday at 9:30 AM. It was busy but many only come for a short 1,000 meters and leave.

I swam here at around 6 PM and it was moderately busy. Definitely bring a small lock, as bags are not permitted on the deck. Flip-flops are also required, and we noticed that swimmers were sent back to the locker room to retrieve them. The lifeguards were very friendly and chatty.

ID (driver license or passport) and swim caps are required. Also bring pool slippers and a small lock for the locker room. I couldn't tell if women are required to wear one-piece suit, like Portugal, but all the women swimming or in the aqua aerobics pool had one-piece suits on.
The facility also has a gym and other fitness activities.
