NOTE: When we were first advised of the closure of the pool in March, 2026, we contacted the facility to try to find out when the pool might be expected to reopen. A representative of the center replied promptly and advised that the pool's problems are structural and will ultimately be resolved as a part of a long term renovation project for the entire Blackstone School (where the community center is located) through the Boston Public Schools system. It will be a while before this pool is again available to the public.

Meanwhile, our respondent reminded us that South End residents and visitors have access to the South End Fitness Center's pool.
