Since reopening the former YMCA pool, the Emerald Coast Foundation has really done a nice job cleaning things up. As a Masters swimmer, I was glad to see the pool reopened. I regularly vacation in Destin and always regretted there was no pool to use.
The restrooms and locker rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. There are multiple times each day you can swim laps. I suggest you pick up a schedule at the front desk versus the Internet.
