October 2025: Nevada, Utah and Arizona Listings Reviewed
In October 2025 we finished Nevada and Utah and got through 89 of Arizona's 150 listings. The Pool of the Month is a Marana, Arizona, pool we found only because a reader told us about it.
October 2025 was a month of reviews in the western United States. This pool listings update covers finished reviews of Nevada and Utah, 43 new listings and 32 deletions.
Listing checks
In October we continued reviewing listings in the western United States. We finished the Nevada listings we began in September and completed our review of all the listings in Utah. We have now been through 89 of the 150 listings in Arizona.
We say 150 because we lost 16 listings in Arizona, mostly LA Fitness locations that had closed since our last review there in 2017.
We will finish Arizona and then move on to New Mexico's 57 listings, followed by Colorado with 236. If we finish Colorado, which is not likely, we will go on to Nebraska (63 listings) and Kansas (73).
Pool of the Month
We are taking a different approach to our Pool of the Month for October. We chose the Marana Aquatic & Recreation Center in Marana, Arizona, because it is a listing we would never have found if one of you had not told us about it. Read why we chose it.
