October 2022: West Virginia Done, Two New Competition Pools
In October 2022 we finished Scotland and West Virginia and started on Ohio. Our Pools of the Month are the newly opened Hampton Aquaplex in Virginia and the renovated Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Complex in Florida.
We finished reviewing the pool listings for Scotland and West Virginia in October 2022 and made good progress in Ohio. Two competition pools that opened or reopened this autumn, in Virginia and Florida, share Pool of the Month in this update.
Site activity
In October we finished the last listings that needed review in Scotland, completed West Virginia and moved on to Ohio, where 55 listings remain. Michigan is next, and we may take another try at Italy, where continued COVID-19 protection measures have held up our earlier attempts.
Pools of the Month
The newly opened Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Virginia, is our Pool of the Month for October 2022. It opened on October 29 with two indoor pools and an outdoor, seasonal splash park. Read about the Aquaplex.
