March 2021: Asian Listings Updated and Singapore's Tampines Pool
In March 2021 we updated the listings in Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore and added new pools in Mexico while COVID-19 closures held up larger reviews. Our Pool of the Month is Singapore's Tampines Swimming Complex.
March 2021 was a quiet month, and this pool listings update is a short one. We updated the listings in Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore, added a number of new listings in Mexico and kept up general maintenance of the database.
Site activity
A number of countries have opened their pools or announced opening dates. Even so, the organized update we prefer, checking every listing in a particular state or country, will have to wait a little longer. The places we would logically take next, the mid-Atlantic states of the United States, all of Italy and the United Kingdom, are still only partly open or entirely shut down because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pools in the United Kingdom are scheduled to reopen in early April, so we may be able to make progress there in the coming days and weeks.
Pool of the Month
Our Pool of the Month for March 2021 is the Tampines Swimming Complex in eastern Singapore, which has two 50-meter pools in a community hub. Read why we chose it.
