Site activity
We made no progress on our running review of the listings in California during January and February. Our last scheduled review, of pools in Orange County (Irvine, to be precise), was before Christmas.
We did keep up with the updates that swimmers sent us through the site. We also picked up new listings, mainly from posts in online swimming groups and from other sites we came across. Across the two months we added 65 new listings and deleted 11, for a net gain of 54.
Pool of the Month
The pool that struck us as most interesting over the last two months is the 50-meter infinity pool at the Gran Meliá Iguazú in Puerto Iguazú, Argentina. Resort infinity pools tend to be narrow, usually only three or four meters wide. This one is 15 meters wide and covers a total surface area of 750 square meters, which makes it one of the largest swimmable hotel pools we have come across. Read why it stands out.
Puerto IguazuThe pool has a staircase entry located along one side, rather than at the ends of the pool.
